Consistency, Discipline, and Enjoyment.
In my kitchen, I have a wall of glass jars filled with powders, seeds, and herbs of many different colors. One row has shades of green from a jade green sprout, to a Matcha green, and a nearly blue spirulina. Another row is more on the purple side with beet powder and the well-known acai. These colors contrast with the white of my collagen powder and the black of the sesame seeds and the Hawaiian black salt.
The colors are striking and easily sprinkled into any dish or snack. One of my favorite snacks is matcha green yogurt. Putting this yogurt together takes maybe 2-3 minutes and it looks and tastes beautiful. The reason I am writing about this is because of how much I enjoy this yogurt and making it. It is important to find ways to enjoy as much of your anti-aging and longevity methods as possible because you will continue to do these good practices even when you are feeling tired, undisciplined, and inconsistent.
Some things you will never enjoy, but the more you learn to enjoy it and learn to find the beauty in these small rituals the better. I sometimes fall out of my habits and discipline. I may feel that I am not doing enough of the habits that I have discussed. Then I remember my yogurt. Just having a small bowl every day, for the pure enjoyment, I am getting the following age related benefits:
